What to expect from your eye exam appointment

Your health and safety, and the health and safety of our team is our top priority. Here are the policies and the protocols we’ve put in place to keep everyone safe during their visits!

Before your appointment:

  • Once we select an appointment time for you, we will book you in, discuss fees and provide you with important information regarding your appointment.

  • We will ask you to fill out our secure online intake forms before your appointment! These forms include a health screening.

  • We respectfully request that you contact our team to reschedule your appointment if you are experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms.

When you arrive:

  • Arrive as close to your appointment time as possible! We request you arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment.

  • Our team will once again screen you for cold or flu symptoms! Keeping our team and patients healthy is very important to us.

  • We ask our patients to please wear a mask if possible! It is not mandatory.

Behind the scenes:

  • All equipment will be sanitized with medical grade disinfectant after each use.

  • Exam rooms and our reception area will be disinfected after each appointment.

  • All surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected often.

During your exam:

  • Your optometrist will perform a thorough eye examination.

  • Breath shields have been installed on our equipment. It provides everyone with an added layer of protection, especially during cold and flu season.

  • Our team will wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

After your appointment:

  • We will provide you with your new prescription and a receipt for your records or insurance.

  • We will book follow-up appointments if needed.
